Mixer Success

Yesterday, I held the mixer/happy hour event of the year at Patxi’s Pizza. It was great! We had a about 15 clients and future clients show up to enjoy some Pints and Pies. There were several people there that I had never met so I had the opportunity to learn a little about them.

One thing I learned which really stuck out was that the group really took notice and responded to the none sales approach. Every time we do a happy hour, mixer, event we do it with the intent that we are building relationships. This is not about buying food for someone and then asking them for business. No, I am building something that I want to last for years to come. One of the ways to do that is to get to know people with the intention that you actually care. Talk to people and listen to them. Really listen and ask questions and actually care about what they have to say. Be Authentic!!!
